Imagery: language that appeals to the five senses, create a picture in the readers mind. appeals to sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
EX: the accepted the pleasure of morning the bright sun, the un whelming set and sweet air as a time when play as good and life so tall that hoping was not necessary and therefore forgotten.
EX: at midway the illusion merged into the sky and there the sun gazed down like a grey eye.
EX: when the sun sank darkness dropped on the island like an extinguisher and soon the shelters were full of restlessness under the remote stars
