A.  chapter one is about how the boys first landed on this deserted island. This is where we meet our first chaacter who is described to have fair hair whose name is Ralph we then meet this other character who has many problmes he is fat needs glasses and has asmah, and this carcaters name is piggy well not really but its what the kids at school used to call him. Then we also meet Sam, Eric, Jack, his choir group and Simon. this is also where we start to see conflict between jack and ralph, both of them want to be chief but then ralph is the one choosen. they then decide to search the island and look for food.

  B.  chapter two is where rules are set into place. according to the cheif the only way someone is aloud to talk is by holding the conch. after that we meet these littleuns who could hae swarn the had seen something in the night. They said they saw a snake like creature or some big beastie. Jack said the next time they saw it he wold kill it. So inorder for them to be resqued Ralph suggest that they build a fire but the had a problem they had nothing to build it with. Jack suggest that they use piggys glasses but instead of creating a small fire instead they wind up making a huge fire on the island.

     C.   chapter three is about jack and how he is still trying to hunt the pig and kill it, while Ralph and Simon are trying to build shelters. In this chapter Ralph is starting to get a little upset. while everyone is out trying to kill a pig to eat, Ralph and Simon are tryin to build shelters and its hard for just two. they are trying to get the shelters built so they would have some where to live and so that they will have something to shelter them from the rain, also to kinda have some where to protect the littleluns from this so called beastie.

       D. chapter four we see the conflict between jack and ralph start to boil. Ralph has people on fire duty to make sure that the fire never goes out. when maurice and Rodger are relived of fire duty it is now sam and erics turn to watch the fire but instead of watching the fire they go out to hunt with jack. then in the distance ralph sees a ship coming but something is wrong the fire is out and it is too late for the ship to see there fire signal causeing jack and ralph to fight over whats more important killing pigs, hunting for food or being rescued. 

      E.  chapter five is when ralph decides to call a meeting not any normal fun meeting but a meeting that has to do with biusness. what has changed about ralph is that he is now more serious before he was all calm and not caring but once he saw there chance for rescue slip he had no choice but to get serious. the boys apperence also changed from neat clean boys to dirty nasty looking boys. at the meeting ralph complains about four important things, First he complains about the water and how they stopped collecting it for them to drink. Second was about the shelters and how no one helped accept Simon. Third was about the place where  they go to the bathroom and lastly he complained about how there order was spinning outta controll they couldnt even follow an important rule which was to keep the fire going.

     F.   chapter six is where we discover something that is happening in the air while the boys are asleep. This is where we see that both samneric are on fire duty yet both boys are asleep. So they dont see it what they belive they see instead was the beastie, who was infact the parachute guy. So when they run back to tell ralph they describe it as a monster with wings, teeth, claws, and they say that it had touched them. They then start to explore the mountains when there up there jack thinks that it would be a great place for a fort but ralph didnt agree.

       G. chapter seven is when we see ralph start to have some doubt about being rescued. Then simon says that dont worry he will be rescued. Then when there in the jungle hunting food Ralph hits a pig and is quite proud of it. While that happens jack happens to get hurt by a boar because it cuts him wth his tusk. Then after that the kids plan to play a game of pretend pig hunt and pretend that one of them is a pig and poke and prod at them. In the end the boys go back up the mountain Simon goes back to tell piggy they will be late while Ralph, Jack, and Rodger go and continue up the mountain. there they find the thing they belived was the beast what they think they saw was described to be an ape like creature.  

       H. chapter eight is  where we see jack and ralph fighting. jack calls a meeting something thast only raloh does to iscuss him being cheif. jack says that ralph is not fit to be chief because jack hunts and gives them meet he also says he isnt a coward, something he belives ralph is. when he calls for a new vote to see who is cheif no one says anything that gets jack upset causing him to say im not playing anymore. so jack goes his seperate ways and most of the biguns follow him while the littluns, piggy, simon, and samneric stay with Ralph. in the jungle jack goes hunting and finds a opig and kills it then he rubs the  pig blood all over maurice. they then sharpen a stick and stick his head to it leaving it for the beast. the pig then becomes Lord Of The Flies. 

      I.  chapter nine is about simons death. simon discovers what the beastie really was it was just a dead body. he then travels down the mountain to go tell the rest. while he is doing that ralph and piggy are at jacks side of the beach. piggy suggest that they get outta there as soon as possible because he new that there would be an argument. however most of the boys choose jacks side. they then start chanting kill the beast slit his throat spill his blood. at which simon comes in crawling on his hands and knees and is mistaken for the beast and is killed his body is then lifted up and taken bye the sea.

J. chapter ten is where ralph relizes they killed simon and he remembers that he was trying to say something before he was killed. while they are dealing with that the boys have someone protecting castle rock we also see that jack is going to beat wilfred because of domething that he did. when bill ask jack what are they going to do about fire jack comes up with a plan. that night while piggy, ralph, sam aned eric were asleep jack goes and invades there camp he and his hunters beat them up and in the end wind up stealing piggys glasses. 

      K.  chapter eleven is when we see piggy start to speak up. he wants his glasses back from ralph but inorder to do that they must go to his side of the island. when they get there jack isnt there but when he does get there he and ralph get into a little fight and get hurt. while there doing that sam n eric r being tied up. also while they are fighting the rest of his group are throwing rocks. one hits piggy and causes him to fall of the cliff on to a rock and he went splat and thingy came out of him and in the end the sea also took another from the awful island.

    L. chapter twelve is where piggy is dead and ralph is all bye himself. samneric are forced to join jacks group where they go and try to hunt and kill ralph. they try to get him out of his little hideing place by setting fire to it. but instead the wind up setting fire to the whole island causeing them to be rescued. when the military man walks up to the island he asks who is incharge and ralph says he is jack doesnt fight it. ralph then tells him how two have been killed and the man says i would have expected better from you boys when in reality he has killed many people himself.
